So I guess I need to explain my last ticker on here. I'm trying to be supportive of my best friend who is now pregnant with her first child. She's due around hubby and my 3rd anniversary. Unfortunately my friend thinks that us wanting to try to get pregnant at the end of this year is stupid. We're making a mistake apparently. Hubby said to give him two semesters. Which I am. I'm not changing my mind on that one. Gives me and him something to look forward to. He and I are looking into fixing a few things in our marriage. He and my mom are picking up some slack that I've not been able to do.

My schedule was supposed to be changing at work to accomodate my school. At the current rate for my schedule I'd be working Tuesday through Friday one week then the next I'd be working Monday through Thursday. Doesn't leave enough time to be working on homework when I work 3-11 and then have to be up the next day at 10am to do the whole thing over again. Plus the math I'm in makes me have to go to the Math Center for two hours every week. So I asked to have my schedule changed to something that is still full time but leaves me more time during the week to do my homework and we are working on getting me a laptop which I might be able to do a little bit on my breaks at work. I'm only going to be working 3-11 on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays leaving me with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday to work on my school.

I had also asked for the 18th off so I could go to RAW. Non refundable tickets. Seems everyone else got their days they asked for but not me. She didn't even change my schedule to what I needed. So I wrote her a note since she wasn't there on Friday and she won't get it until tomorrow. Hopefully she will remember and fix it. I was nice on the note. Just asking her if my schedule was actually changing to what I need. Told her again why I needed that schedule. You'd think she'd jump on it since I'm asking to work every weekend indefinately... most are trying to get off on the weekends.

Dec 22 I had a 9mm hole cut in my groin. They took the cyst to the lab to check it out. Then I had two stitches put in. I was told there'd be no pain but if there is to take Motrin. Errr... I really didn't want to accept this answer but I did and walked out of the office. Well actually it was more of a waddle. Let me tell you when the numbing stuff wore off I was hurting bad. Tylenol wouldn't work and I was all ready on a high dosage of an anti inflammatory, so Motrin was out. The pain lasted until I went back to the doc on the 5th to get the stitches out, but one decided it wanted to come out before hand and ripped out of my skin. Doc said this sometimes happens. But my 9mm hole got infected. So I start running a low grade fever, then I get my mom's cold. They take out the last stitch and I'm given some antibiotics. A day later I start coughing up green mucus. I think well I'm on an antibiotic so I shouldn't really worry although I'm having some breathing problems. So I call my allergist to see if the antibiotic I'm on would actually help with bronchitis. Doc calls back and says yeah it'll help but in the mean time use breathing treatments every four hours. Ugh...

So then I look up the antibiotic to see if it's a broad spectrum antibiotic since I've worked with four patients now who have C. Diff. It is. So now I'm praying that I don't end up with C. Diff since it can stay dormant in the intestines until it's set off by the patient being put on a broad spectrum antibiotic. GRRR...

I start school back this week and I was hoping I could get Tuesday off to go get my school books and go with mom to have a bit of fun before I'm back to the grind. Plus I need three days off to work on my house because with me being sick the house has gone to the shitter... it's aweful. Just reafferms that I am the only one who cleans around here. My mom has pointed out to me on several occaisions that there are three adults living in this house. Yes I'm well aware of this fact are you? So I'm making out a cleaning list. This has to be done this much in the week. So I'm hoping with my new schedule and me going back to school I can get mom and Jason to do some of the cleaning. Good luck huh?
