 Time Flies
No Sleep

E is 6 months old now! He weighed 15 pounds, 8 ounces (15th %) and was 26 and three quarter inches tall (60th%). He got his shots and was declared in great health. Dr. P did notice a rash. I think both my kids are generally the rashy types!
He is rolling over back to front and front to back, and starting to "reposition". Not crawling yet, but if you leave him alone and come back a few minutes later, he's always in a new spot. He LOVES his jumper. We never used one with CC, but E loves it. He'll bounce and bounce and bounce, and then he'll stand right up for a few seconds until he loses his balance. Then he'll repeat. So cute. It gives him a sense of independence. He's getting the mobility idea.
I wish he'd get the sleep idea! Ever since the middle of January, he's been getting up twice a night. While we were in Florida in mid-February, he slept well, but otherwise, it's been a struggle. Last night he was up at 11:30 and 4:00. I do wonder if it is because of my diet. I have lost 13 pounds since January 25. I was worried that at his dr appt, I was going to find out he hadn't gained any weight, but he has gained over a pound (he was 14 pounds, 4 ounces on January 10ish). So I'm not starving him, but I do wonder if he's not quite getting enough. We have started him on solids. He gets cereal and fruit in the morning and cereal and a veggie at night. I even upped his portion a little last night, but it didn't help.
The other factor is his teeth. He got his first tooth last weekend (around March 6)! It's the bottom right (I think it's the right). Maybe more are right behind it.
Anyways, I could use some more sleep!!
CC is doing very well. She has an accident once in a while, especially when we forget to remind her to go to the potty. But I consider her 99.9% trained. Halleluia!
We have been struggling to fit in violin practice into our daily grind. We usually have lessons with Mrs. G on Wednesdays, and I try to practice with her at least every other day. It's tough to get it all in! Right now she just has a Styrofoam violin. It might be more attractive (and also nervewracking) when she gets a real violin.
CC is really into rhyming these days. She'll go around trying to think up rhymes. She also learned her first bible verse in church. "Don't be afraid, God is protecting us! (From monsters! she adds sometimes) II Kings 6:16"
Soooooo cute.
That's my update!
