 Holly- Adoption

Does anyone know where Holly's journal went?  She was a very regular poster in the Adoption subforum and I've been following her journal for years now.  I've been reading since she was ttc, and then on into her adoption journeys.  It's so sad to see her journal not there anymore, and was very sudden.  I hope she's ok!

Before you were conceived I wanted you.
Before you were born I loved you.
Before you were an hour I would die for you.

I'm around! Those who have been following my journal know that my last entry was about the foster mom - well, she started stalking me online. I thought it was best that I remove my journal until the fuss died down. Things got so bad...well, we are no longer going to be parents to the sibling group we were getting ready to meet.

My family was broken up about it, but this foster mom was beyond insane. There was just no way things were going to work out.

That said, last week we sent our study out and we're now waiting to meet a cute 9 year old girl that lives in NY! Wish us luck!

I do think I am going to bring my journal out of "private" status soon, but I'm going to edit some of the earlier entries.

Thanks so much for everyones' concern - y'all are sweet!

Phew.  I'm glad to see you are okay, but I feel for you not being able to adopt those kids.  What a nightmare! Those poor children are going to miss out on a wonderful family.  I wish you all the best on this new little girl you are considering and I hope to be able to read and follow your journal when you are comfortable.

Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Carmen

 What a Disappointment for You!
But glad to hear you didn't disappear...

I too wondered what had happened.  Being in the adoption mode myself, I enjoyed reading your trials and tribulations and even got some useful information from your journal.

I hope to see you back soon.

Take care.
