So...If my DH leaving the day AF shows is not enough...there were MAJOR problems with his trip!!  Here is the story!

They (my DH, our manager, and another co-worker) were supposed to leave at 1pm Tues.  Their original flight plan was Home->Minneapolis->San Francisco. 

My DH gets a phone call at 7:30am saying their flight was cancelled and that our manager is trying to find them another one.  We get to work and find out they are leaving 2hrs earlier with one extra stop.  So...at 11am they leave for Chicago.  New flight plan  Home->Chicago->Minneapolis->San Francisco. 

So, my DH calls me at 1pm to say they are leaving from Chicago and should be in Minneapolis in about an hour.  2.5HRS LATER!!! I get a pix message of a fire truck sitting at the end of  a runway and my DH saying "How was my flight you may ask?"  !!!  Freaks me out and I finally get the story:  They get over Minneapolis and circle around about 3-4 times and finally the pilot gets on the intercom and tells the passengers what is wrong.  The plane's landing gear would not come down!!!  They were being re-routed to Detroit because it has a longer runway!!  So they fly off to Detroit.  By the time they get there they have managed to get the landing gear down using "alternative methods"!  However to be safe, the Detroit airport must have visual confirmation that it is in fact down, so they fly down low and pass over the airport before circling around and finally landing in Detroit where they are greated with emergency vehicles!!  They immediatly shut down the plane and the runway it is on and now have to wait for a tow truck to tow the plane to the airport!

Now, our manager is frantically trying to find a flight from DETROIT to San Francisco...he finds one, but the only one he can find is through Houston, TEXAS!!!  New flight plan: Home->Chicago->Over Minneapolis->Detroit->Houston->San Francisco!! 

They finally leave Detroit and have an uneventfull flight to Houston.  My DH finds out he really likes the Houston airport!  Kind of neat...I guess.  However...(yes, it is not over yet!) while there, our manager finds out that the hotel they plan to stay at in San Francisco and had booked a couple of weeks ago, messed up their reservation...they only have ONE room for three men!  Yeah...they don't know each other THAT well!!  So he frantically tries to find an outlet so he can find another hotel (on the computer).  Thankfully he found one, unfortunately it was 30min from the airport.  So...when they finally get into San Francisco, they have to drive 30min!

I cry myself to sleep imagining the worst...praying that I do not loose my DH!! (can you say Hormones!!)  But all is well...I get a phone call from my DH at 3am saying they are at the hotel.

All I can say is ACK!!!  Please pray that the trip home will be better than the trip there!!!
