I just got back from the OB's office.  I was there 2 hours... ugh!

Well, the bliss of my post from yesterday (posted today because website was down) is over.  I had been feeling pretty crampy all morning and while I was out running a couple of errands, I started getting shooting pains in my lower pelvis that stopped me dead in my tracks.  I was getting any contractions but I didn't know what the heck was going on so I called. 

I was hoping that nothing was going on because the doctor on call this weekend is the one that I most certainly DO NOT want to deliver with.  My cervix is "a little bit closed" and I am 0-station.  He is good with me going at any time but does not think that I will go this weekend because I'm not dilated.  I wanted to remind him that I was 2 cm dilated with Nathan and 0-station at 36.4 with Nathan.  Based on that, he said that I would deliver within 10 days.  Well... that didn't happen so why should I believe that I won't go this weekend.  He did say that since his head is "right there" all it would take is a couple of contractions.  Ummm... that didn't happen with Nathan either.

I guess that maybe I won't end up with that induction on the 8th.  But... I do hope that he stays put until next Wednesday.  Hmmm.  I wonder what the chances are and how uncomfortable - hell, downright painful- the rest of this pregnancy will be.
