 Elijah at 13 months...

Elijah turned 13 months old recently.  He is doing so well.  I took him for a ped appt recently and he weighed almost 24lbs and was 31 inches tall.  He is quite the mover nowadays.  He isn't quite walking but he is crawling at the speed of light, pulling up on everything, cruising, and standing by himself.  I figure it won't be long before he is attempting to walk.  I'm definately not rushing it! Smile

He is talking so much too.  He can say "dada, mama, cookie, doggie, bye bye, and yeah".  He's got so much personality.  He loves to play with Noah and Lily and act like he's a big kid.  I can tell that he wishes he could do everything they can.  He loves to eat and play with papa.  There isn't hardly anything this kid won't eat.  He loves it all! He is drinking out of a sippy cup and feeding himself.  I am thrilled!

Elijah is still wearing size 3 diapers.  He is in 12-18 month clothes and size 4 shoes.  He is not a big shoe fan but I have a few pairs he will keep on if they are soft and light otherwise he will jerk them off in about 30 seconds.

Elijah is such a happy baby.  Every now and then he will get fussy but it is very few and far between.  He is usually laid back and easily amused by everything.  He laughs and smiles constantly.  He is such a joy to be around.  He loves attention and exploring the house.  He is always on the go.  The only time recently I have been able to sit and hold him was when he was feeling bad.  Speaking of, Elijah now has 8 teeth.  4 on top, 4 on bottom.  He has been having a hard time recently b/c I think he's getting ready to cut some bigger teeth in the back.

So, everything is super good. I just hope I can keep him well thru all the nasty cold and flu season. Ugh.
