Griffen is growing like a weed...he's almost 8 months old already. We went shopping for his Halloween Costume the other day and I had decided some time back that since DH has a Tigger costume that Griff would be Tigger too. I think that will be really cute having the big Tig holding the little Tig. I'm doing horrible with keeping up on this. Griffen is finally done with the 2,4,6 month series of shots and I can't be happier about that. I couldn't handle how cranky and feverish those things made him. Now we don't go in to the doctor again until November. I guess they are going to do blood work and 1 shot.
He's been crawling for a few months, today he said mommom for the 1st time more than once : ). He's pulling up on all my furniture and he's starting to cut teeth. I can't believe how much I love the precious little dude.
I am already thinking/planning #2....weird I know since Griff is only a baby himself. I can't help but think I'd like to start trying July/August next year. That way he'd be 2 years and 4 or 5 months when the next one would be born. A good gap between the two....not having 2 babies at the same time would be nice and by then Griffen would be talking, walking, and all that good stuff. He might even be potty training....he seems to do things rather quickly when he wants too. I am very happy though and I know that if I don't have another one at least I was blessed with my dear son and I'll cherish every second with him because it won't be long til he's driving and out with his friends. I know my brother and SIL really want a little girl next time and to me it just doesn't matter if I am blessed again I'll consider myself the luckiest woman on earth and if not I'm still the luckiest since I have Griffen. I'll have to put some pictures of Griffen on here again soon.
Anyone have LI baby...what do you do when they turn 1? Whole milk is recommended because of the fat content and soy milk isn't as high in fat.
